This is the first I've heard of this: January as "The Month of Men."
There's an entry on the Urban Dictionary site, which pretty well lays it out for ya. There's even a site at:

Grow your facial hair out... not the first time I've seen that. Around here we have "Movember", pronounced "MoVember", which was pretty much the same thing.
Facial hair is part of it, rare red meathat, and anything else typically male. It's nice to see stuff coming out for us guys nowadays, and not as backlash but as just having fun and celebrating: proof that at least some groups can do that without bashing others ... lol
My wife has even seen "man caves" presented on those home shows which used to completely pussify the guys by making them get rid of everything that was theirs, no space for them, stuff like that. All parties need their space / stuff, woman kids *and man*. I'm not doin' the facial hair part since she doesn't like it, and that's not a big deal to me, but the rest, well, one way to make January a more interesting month. Maybe if I can find a punching bag on craigslist, one I can hang in my garage and add to my workout.

In Europe Hardrock Cafe used to have a "hubby drop off" at the mall where the wife could drop the hubby, get a ticket and the hubby could sit and enjoy beer and tv while the wife went shopping. I always thought it was brilliant.
And, yeah, since it is Manuary I hope the ladies will offer one beer and strip tease night to their men, fair enough, of course we need to offer cleaning, massage and roses for V-Day instead. ;)
If we're going to bring V-day into it, there is already a male alternative as far as that goes. March 14 is "Stake and BJ day". Read more about it at:

Is there a whole month for women? There should be if there isn't. Yeah the mall drop off sounds pretty innovative. Just install a couple PC'S with internet, a snack bar and good coffee and my hubby would never leave. The kiddos and I could shop all day.

Well, given that VD is in February, why don't they just make it Femruary? We could have a break in March and then have Gaypril or Gay for May? Poon could be for the lezies. Or how about cocktoberfor the gay men? Or blowvember.
Mmmm! Bjs. So I can give even more on that day? Yummy! And I love steak, so we could enjoy that. But if I were really gonna make it for my bf, I'd probably give it all to him since he likes his well done and I like mine medium rare. Anyone caught with roses at my door would probably see a "what the fuck? loll!" look on my face when I opened it. Coffee, tobacco and cologne would be fine.
